Trakalarm Marketing and Communications Manager
Tracey has been in the communications business for over 25 years working as a journalist, public relations practitioner and marketing manager. She was formerly trained as a journalist by Australia’s biggest press organisation, News Corp, and has a degree in marketing from Griffith University.
During her time working as a journalist in print, radio and television, Tracey covered countless stories on murders, rapes, sexual assaults, drink spiking, date rape and domestic violence.
Tracey has run her own communications consultancy for over 15 years, working with clients in a variety of industries including tourism, property, large-scale events and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG). An outstanding moment in her career was working on the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games where she achieved media results of more than $25 million promoting the City to a global audience across the Commonwealth.
As the Marketing and Communications Manager for Trakalarm, Tracey brings years of well-rounded experience as an integrated communications expert with a stellar black book of national and international media contacts. As a former crime reporter, she is also passionate about making the world a safer place.
